Rob

Rob started at AW Cycles as a mechanic at just 16 years old before taking ownership of the business in 2016. A talented dirt jump rider who rode for Flow Bikes in the early 2000s, these days his passion lies in helping riders get the most from their bikes through professional bike fitting.

When he's not in the workshop or fitting studio, you'll probably find him tinkering with his other pride and joy—his BMW E46 M3.

Lewis

If it's got wheels (and even if it doesn't), Lewis can probably fix it. Jobs that have had everyone else scratching their heads seem to surrender the moment he picks up the tools.

With more than 20 years in the cycle trade and part of the AW Cycles team since 2007, Lewis holds almost every qualification the industry has to offer and has even helped test Giant's E-bike training programme.

Outside work you'll usually find him riding his custom Suzuki Bandit or taking part in charity motorcycle events.

Dave

Dave has worked in the cycle industry since 1998, gaining experience with national retailers, independent bike shops, distributors and now AW Cycles. His broad knowledge means there's very little he hasn't seen.

A downhill racer since the late '90s with a few podium finishes to his name, these days he's more likely to be found riding laps of the local woods on his E-bike while trying to relive the glory days.

Away from bikes, he's an active member of the local Cars & Coffee scene with his BMW E31.

Jack

Jack has been with AW Cycles since 2005 and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing the website and stock levels to answering mail-order enquiries, he's usually the reason things happen when they're supposed to.

A talented kart racer, Jack quietly enjoys reminding everyone who's fastest whenever a work trip to the local kart circuit comes around. Outside work, he's a dedicated family man who loves spending time exploring with his kids.

Elliot

Joining AW Cycles as an apprentice in 2022, Elliot has quickly become an invaluable member of the workshop team. His height certainly comes in handy for reaching things the rest of us can't, but it's his enthusiasm and willingness to learn that really stand out.

Always smiling, Elliot is a talented downhill rider who enjoys getting airborne whenever possible. Like several members of the team, he also has a passion for cars—and apparently looking good in Instagram photos.

Geoff

Geoff, Rob's Dad, became co-owner of AW Cycles in 2016. He now keeps the workshop supplied, looks after bike collections and deliveries, and is always happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed.

He's often out enjoying an early morning ride on his motorbike—and whenever he's visited the local brewery, there's a fair chance a bottle of beer will mysteriously appear on your desk.

Richard

Richard tried retirement... and discovered daytime television wasn't for him.

He originally offered to volunteer at AW Cycles, helping around the workshop, making tea and keeping everything tidy. It didn't take long for his calm nature, enthusiasm and passion for cycling to earn him a permanent place on the team.

When he's not out riding his E-Bike, you'll probably find him on his Harley-Davidson. Nobody's perfect.

Karen

Everyone loves Karen from Accounts—and for good reason. Without her, none of us would get paid!

Karen joined AW Cycles in 2006 and has been keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes ever since. Friendly, organised and always happy to help, she's also another member of the team with petrol in her veins and plenty of motorcycle stories to tell.
